ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
· Developed and maintained over 360 reports with Crystal Reports 10 and 11 using stored procedures.
· Standardized program names, JCL, file names, and created common Proc for extract and report JOBs. This reduced the time required to add new items to the reports by about 98% (48 man hours down to 1 man hour) and the time to create a new report.
· Used ENDEAVOR for moving programs to production and compiling and updating all programs. Converted PANVALET system to ENDEAVOR
· Standardized JCL, Procs and File names to provide easier maintenance and readability on both DOS VSE and OS/VS2 MVS mainframe systems.
· Developed and provided maintenance support for a Merchandise Processing System which consisted of Purchase Order Management, Dock Receiving, Detail Receiving, Ticketing and Tables Systems
· Developed a Purchase Order Purge Process that reduced execution time from 72 hours to 1 hour.
· Developed a Purchase Order Print Program that reduced cost by using plain bond rather than special forms.
· Developed a Preventive Maintenance System which reduced man hours in the process by 46 hours a week.
· Developed a Inventory System that reduced ordering cost by 30%.
